Term Life Insurance
Protection on your terms.
What is term life insurance?
Term life insurance is one of the most affordable types of life insurance you can buy. It provides coverage for a specific period of time, or "term" (for example, 10 or 20 years or to a specific age, such as 80). Once that term ends, so does your coverage. That means, your loved ones won't receive a payment from your policy should you pass after the term ends. But with Northwestern Mutual, you have the option of converting your term policy to a permanent one. Learn about term conversion

Let's TalkBenefits of term life insurance
Affordable
Get a level of coverage to fit your budget. You can choose to have your premiums stay the same price for the whole term, or you can start with a lower premium that increases over the years. (So you have the option to pay less when you're younger and more as your earning potential increases.)
For the short(er) term
Depending on your situation, you may not need life insurance protection after you reach a certain age or stage in your life. For example, if you want to make sure your mortgage is paid off or your children are able to pay for college should something happen to you, term life insurance can help provide protection for only the years you need.
